I realised today, if you want to go into town to shop in the average shopping centre, weekday mornings are brilliant if you're retired, there's no one around.
Peterborough Queensgate centre, dead as a dodo at 09.30...brilliant.

Pooped now. It’s got a bit muggy out and I have walked around 15 miles in total today. That’s definitely enough.

Well done. It was really cold in town this morning. It was certainly warmer here.

Round our way the concessionary bus passes don't kick in until 09:30. The first couple of buses after that tend to be really busy.

Funnily enough, i just had an email the other day, Stagecoach are dropping the 09.30 ruling, not sure when but very soon if not already.
I think that's a council run initiative

probably never came here
and was not even from this region

I have never thought of him as a proper Patron Saint for England
I would prefer a proper English one

I never knew that the church will not celebrate a saints day if it falls in Easter week . That’s why this year, they will celebrate it next Monday instead. Every day is a school day, as they say . 😀.
