Me neither. I would never take statins either unless my cholesterol was life threatening high.

Most of the me in our village started taking stations prescribed by the Dr. However just about all of them felt so ill that they have all stopped taking them. Horrible tings.

Afternoon all, just back from the sailing club . We have an Open meeting on , so when went to check if everything is ready , food , safety boats , race starting m/c etc . We are good to go 😀.
Weather is looking fine for tomorrow, warm, dry and windy .
Mrs exlaser is a little on edge today because 1) she always is before sailing in a open or the nationals and 2) she is the commodore of the club at the moment and wants the event to be a success.
The trouble is your never sure how many sailors from other clubs will turn up , what ever they say before hand . Luckily our overheads are small, so as long as we have four visitors we will have broken even .
Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Granddaughter sleepover has been postponed until tomorrow as it's a glorious afternoon and mummy is taking her to the beach😎. They're very fortunate in that both her flat and the school are within walking distance of the beach, and there's a children's play area and toilets next to the chine. I'm not a beach person, preferring to amble through the heathland and find a bit of solitude.

My wife has just been offered a job!!!

This is brilliant news and we are very excited

funny thing though
The job offer came from Tik-Tok HR department - so it must be genuine - and they have reviewed her cv and were very impressed
but neither of us can remember her ever doing a cv
at least not in the last 20 years

and we certainly can;t remember her ever sending it off to Tik Tok

but they have offered a job paying at least £300 per day
which sounds great!!!

The exact job details do seem a little thin on the ground

but they do seem to be very impressed with everything they know about her

so - that'll sort out paying for teh Facinator that she is after for the wedding in a few weeks time

I have been on statins for possibly 20 years now and the only side effect I am aware of is cramps in my legs at night , only every now and again though.
My cholesterol level was very high at the time but it is well under control now so it must do something good.

Excellent bit of luck this afternoon..
When I went shopping there was an unchained trolley near a young lady standing under a lamppost. I asked if it was hers but it wasn't. I wheeled it away and did my shopping.
When I returned it to a trolley bay and poked the thingy in the slit, a shiny £1 coin popped out!!
How lucky was that!! 🍀

The medicos put Mrs D on stains and within 3 days she was in a terrible mess. She stopped, 48 hours was fine again.
