Just had a phone call from the GP surgery
They need to make an appt with me
which sounds scary

but it is a telephone thing and the first they have is 15th APRIL
so I presume I'm not dying all that quickly then!!!

apparently it is to do with my iron
which was low and resulted in me being diagnosed with coeliac
so maybe that has not fixed it??

we clearly won;t know until 15th April I suppose!!

Annoying when they phone you, saying they need to speak to/see you, but the only appointment is weeks away.

Don't overthink things in the meantime.

Good morning all from a grey, dull and cold Barnet.
Sleet is forecast with a mixture of sunny intervals and showers later on.
MrsP is volunteering at the wildlife centre and the one of her friends is taking her out to lunch. So I'll be out with the dog and then maybe a pint or two in the Mitre at lunchtime.
Our son is calling in on the way to the Spurs game this evening and our daughter is also calling in so it will be an early tea for four.
I wonder what else will come along today.

Good morning from a cold and grey Dorset. Last night's visit to the Nepalese restaurant was really good. We celebrated our friends birthday, she's been gallivanting extensively, Camino de Santiago last year and now she's planning on walking to Rome on one of the other caminos😎
Food was very good, but our local Nepalese just has the edge both in food and ambiance. I am scheduled for a training run this morning, but will leave that till later 🤔

Morning all

Dentist said me gnashers are good for the next 6 months, but MrsD needs a filling.
Today I shall be planting onion sets and carrots, cutting my back lawns and then retiring to my workshop to turn up some crankcase locating dowels on my lathe.

I was hoping to do so gardening, but the weather has other ideas.i have some first early potatoes, Maris Bard, to put in the ground, and I've bought 4 potato sacks to try, 4 or 5 in a bag and see what happens.
