What is a potato sack ? (I have no idea)

Sort of grow bag thingy for growing spuds in I think.

I took the car a few miles out the road and parked up and did the loch walk. Gives the car a run and a different walk from my usual morning one.

Talking of dentists, it’s my turn tomorrow. Just a check up. It’s a new dentist so not sure what she’ll be like.

Good morning. Looks as though we will get the promised sunshine but it's chilly at the moment. Meeting the guys for a ride at 10.00, there was a severe weather warning so we decided to delay till then.................no sign of any severe weather!!!

That is about it except we are going to "The Last Quiz Night on Earth" this evening at Chorley Little Theatre. There are 15 of us going and no one has a clue what is going to happen except we are to sit at tables and form teams of 4 or 6. yes, I know it sounds like a quiz but we think there will be a bit more to it.....................life on the edge in my house!!

Right, I'm off I need to have breakfast, get my kit on and check the bike.........being the eternal optimist I fully expect my di2 to fail, again. If it does fail it's a toss up between me shooting someone at the LBS or shooting myself  ^_^^_^

Cold but the sun is out. Kitchen fitters have arrived, sink being plumbed is as we speak and a couple of decisions to be made with regard to finishing touches. Sparky due to arrive shortly, when he fitted the new consumer unit he was concerned about the condition of the upstairs lighting ring cable so that needs to be traced and replaced.
Hopefully tomorrow will see us with a fully functioning kitchen, I will savour the clean uncluttered lines before Mrs Tkk starts moving all the old crap back into the new cupboards and drawers 🤔😉

Good morning from a cold and grey Dorset. Last night's visit to the Nepalese restaurant was really good. We celebrated our friends birthday, she's been gallivanting extensively, Camino de Santiago last year and now she's planning on walking to Rome on one of the other caminos😎
Food was very good, but our local Nepalese just has the edge both in food and ambiance. I am scheduled for a training run this morning, but will leave that till later 🤔

Nepalese is definitely lovely, only tried it once - The Khukuri in Edinburgh which was first class.

As an aside, we were in Bournemouth last year and went to the Bournemouth Lahore which was interesting as it was BYO booze, and no corkage, which made it a very cheap night out. Friday night and it was packed so a good atmosphere and the food was decent too.

High wind and very cold out.

Was due a mountain hike today but have aborted.

Winds to 40mph & wind chill -15C is not my idea of a fun day out. Snow flurries due in the pm too.

Only upside is a) we are having a snuggly lay-in and b) I have a rare treat of Mountain Hike Flapjack (Aldi) to scoff.

I don't overdo carb's so I will savour the heavy little fella with a creamy coffee - might as well go full hog!

Have a spiffing day all!
