Last years Car insurance £319, renewal qote this year £400, best online quote £330, phoned them, hastings direct, and they matched the online quote, happy days.

Walked up to Wimborne Hospital this morning for my Physio appointment. The Physio was plwased with my progress, I explained that I'd been experiencing pain in my Bicep ( It lookes a bit like Popeye's Bicep ) She said " How on earth have you done that? " It appears that I've torn my Bicep, no idea how it happened as it's on the same arm as the break.
Interestingly it was exactly 7km walk door to door anong the trailway and over the Stour. The weather was gentle and afer physio i felt Mo- tivated to walk back too. I almost made it all the way back but stumbled into the beer garden of our local Pub 🍺
Took this photo from the wooden footbridge over the Stour, there's a company called " Dreamboats " who do Paddle board and Kayak tuition.

I've been sort of tempted to have a go on a Paddle Board, I walk past the little launching stage which is only about 50 metres downstream of the bridge from which I took the photo, it looks great fun, it's quite quiet most of the time and if I fall off at least it is a soft ( if wet ) landing 🤔

You need a very strong back for a paddle board, something I haven't got

I'm used to shopping around each renewal, but this year my existing company surprised me with a renewal that was actually a few shekels lower than last year. So, for the first time in decades I'm with the same firm two years running.

Washing done, dog walked, bike ride, only 15 miles but hey ho. Dodged a few showers, got the washing in, cut the grass, cooked tea, which was stuffed red peppers with rice, vegetables and a tomato sauce, with feta cheese on the top.
Now relaxing with a glass of cheeky red Cote du Rhone.🍷

Evening all. I too am missing the tdf on the up side it won’t long until the Vuelta . Which is often exciting as it’s the last chance saloon for all those riders that didn’t do well in Giro or TDF .

Re paddle boarding , Mrs exlaser has one and is a expert , me I just fall off a lot 😂
But I will repeat her tips if your looking to get one.
1) do some research and buy the best board you can afford.
2 ) make sure it’s got waist leash
3) always wear a buoyancy aid and it is a good idea to get yourself a cheap wetsuit too .
4) For gods sake away from weirs they are so dangerous.
