Never shopped there, then again we don't have places like that out here.

What is the quality of the things they sell. I always wonder if its just rubbish stuff
Dunelm is a good shop, Mrs P has been shopping there for decades. A very wide range of domestic products and many little things it's hard to get elsewhere. Far from rubbish.

@Paulus 🍾🥂🎉 Happy Birthday.

On the vitamin D comment. Getting your shorts on, T-shirt etc. has no real value. If you're concerned about vitamin D levels a daily supplement is the only option.

D3 / K2 is used in the treatment of anaemia, it's also used as a supplement in the treatment of osteoporosis in Japan. Cheap and non toxic, my consultant recommended that I take it as it may help with fatigue levels.

Yes, there’s dispute whether it means the month of May or the Mayflower.

Or James May.

Nice surprise this morning

That nice Rachel person in No 11 Downing Street has sent me £250
or at least - sent me a message on the Government Gateway saying I was due to tax refund and could claim it by clicking here

If I wanted to

Well - after some thought I decided to claim it

so I have - I presume it is due to my wife doing something about re-allocating her tax free allowance to me as her pension is less than mine

anyway - worryingly there was a bit in the claiming process that seemed to say that if I was not actually entitled to it then it was MY FAULT

errr - I presume that HMRC know more about the tax system than I do so why is it my fault unless I have deliberately given them false or incomplete information
so I ignored that
and if I find that I have mysteriously inherited a huge bank account in the Caymen Island and didn;t know about it - then I will look at it again

Good morning all.
Today is my 67th birthday 😁.
As the sun seems to of disappeared at the moment, it's quite a cloudy start to the day here but not cold, that is going to change tonight so I will have to bring my tomato seedlings indoors for the next week or so.
A nice dog walk with coffee and croissants at the cafe on the way home.
Our son is calling in after work and is finally taking his mountain bike home so I will get a little more space in my man cave.
I, like @PeteXXX have had my shorts on the last few day, I will carry on for as long as possible, helps to keep the vitamin D levels up.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Have a great birthday .
