My daughter did my breakfast.
I said to her "don't give me too much"
Good job I didn't ask for a lot.

She is normally naked.
I have asked her not to be but sadly she insists

That would concern me, what with her being born a man and all.

Currently in Moggo for an early lunch while the tyre jockeys do their bit.

I don't mean this as a lecture. Only the way I'm beginning to think. Time is so precious.

I'm with @Dave7 on this. Again. My wife is ill and I'm very likely to be on my own by the end of 2025. I pray not, but it's likely. I feel it's important to think about one's future, to be prepared. I hope this will stop me falling apart in the long-term. So.....in any week:

Day 1 - granddaughter
Day 2 - granddaughter
Day 3 - cycling
Day 4 - cycling
Day 5 - allotment and garden
Day 6 - u3a, shopping, minor domestics
Day 7 - ???? perhaps cycling

Obviously it won't be this rigid but my week will be full. I don't want to waste time cleaning the house. Time is more important than money. If I can buy time, I will.

Agreed.

If you can afford to offload tasks you dislike, and can use the saved time more productively, then it's a no-brainer to do it.

We just have trouble offloading tasks to other people, it's very hard to find cleaners, gardeners, etc, hereabouts.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
My house seems to have become a refugee camp for every insect there is. First spiders and their webs and now ladybirds. I had to get rid of at least a dozen from the bedroom window the other day and I've just got rid of another couple.

We have 2 steak pies leftover from yesterday so we will have them with a few fries. The bin won't be here this weekend as he has gone to the Midlands to see his girlfriend, so we will have peace and quiet as long as his twin doesn't turn up.

We have a lot of small businesses locally who offer these services. I want to garden etc and while I'm happy to clean I have better things to do.
