Good morning. Another hard frost and a bright and beautiful day. Hopefully it will be warm enough for some allotment work this afternoon. Rovers are at home with a 12.30 KO. Things are not good at my football club. See The Football thread if you're interested.

A lunchtime KO suits me as it leaves just enough time to get my Cervelo out for a pre-season clean.

This morning I'm very unhappy with the world. EDITED by me. Apologies.

Morning all

Another bright and sunny day in store.
This morning I will be attempting to remove the last seized screw out of the Bantam crankcase. It's chewed up and in an awkward place, next to a thin piece of casting. Hopefully, I can remove it without wrecking the cases. Might be a long job!
It's nice to have something to tinker with.

Was -1.5°C here and a solid frost.

Bruce walked and spent a good 15 minutes flatmojt chasing his ball. I'm sat with a coffee and oaty bar and I'll feed him in a bit when he's cooled off.

These deep chested dogs can suffer twisted stomachs if food and exercise are too close, and it's not a nice way to go so he won't get his grub for another hour.

Obviously I know nothing about your finance but as you know I pay for a cleaner. 2 hours every Friday and she blitzes the place. She does all the things I hate doing. 30 quid for 2 hours, money well spent imo.

apparently I am taking SWMBO to the "beauty" place for a thingy and a whatsit - I think there was something about eyebrows
mine get done in about 2 seconds when I get my hair cut - but this seems more complicated
for $reasons

anyway - I am being allowed to go down the high street and buy a box of vape fluid while she is in there
which might involve a coffee shop it they are still open after 4!
(BTW - she is the one that vape - not me - but I get the honour of buying the stuff so I don;t feel left out!)

I'll go with the OU. Been through them already so I know the crack, and their HQ is only 15 miles away so accessible for lectures, tutor groups,etc.

However, plenty of Unis run remote courses with little need for a physical attendance.
