Decided I've too much time on my hands so I'm going to do another degree.

Spent the morning rearranging my man cave room so it's a bit more organised in anticipation of spending more time in there studying.

Social media & cathartic Comedy, I hope?
Good luck!

I'm full of admiration for people who do this. I have a friend who took her degree while working full time. She got an honours and went on to do her Masters. Amazing.

Did you know thate very male athlete in the 1948* British Olympic team was given a free pair of Y-fronts.
*The "Austerity Games" as they were known.

It is one of those things that I confess to not knowing.
So one pair of y fronts to last 2 weeks. Even Drago would have struggled with that.
The thought of Drago doing the pole vault with 2 week old undies turns my stomach.

He could have been on the parallel bars!
Or in the long jump!

My mind is now boggling. What about Welshie in the women's long jump wearing her bloomers

right - we have been swimming
there is a new leisure centre in Widnes and it is just down the road from us

I have been gently suggesting that SWMBO should get a bit more exercise and she decided that swimming would be a good start

problem is that she is not very confident and can;t cope with splashes in her face

but we went and she did some swimming

then we got fish and chips on the way home

Mrs Tkk went down that route, working full time in the NHS and having to travel to Southampton University as well as doing a few vocational courses for her work. She too got a BA Hons. It was seeing her mum achieve this that got our daughter out of a rut working in the Motor trade ( If mum can do this then so can I ). Post retirement Mrs Tkk took to the books again, studying social history with the OU, a topic that she has had an ongoing interest in. Mind you, they say that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and her dissertation was on the 1850's Cholera outbreaks on Tyneside for which she got a Masters with Merit.

I already have a BSc.Hons. and a Masters.

I'm just looking to fill a bit of time and expand my brain with a new subject.

I nearly chose music, but being a multi-instrumentallist who can read music anyway I decided that would be cheating. Something new this time, start from scratch, so I'm doing international relations and history thereof.

And the best bit is I don't pay the fees as none of my income streams count towards repaying loan. Kerchingaling!
