It's quite nippy here in the Northern Lowlands of Hamtun.. I had to wallop the top of the recycling bin to crack the ice seal.

Good morning. It's 4⁰ and sunny. The forecast is wall to wall sun and 6⁰ by 12.00. Gorgeous. I need to crack on. I'm meeting my buddies at 9.30 and need to stretch before I start.

Plus United Utilities have installed four way traffic lights at the top of our road. Three full size water tankers parked there yesterday. I'll be leaving at 8.45/8.50 which is school run time - it's going to be bedlam up there and the waves of traffic being let through behind me will be a bit uncomfortable for the first 3-4 miles.

The plan is for a 50+ qualifier.

Woken up at 2am by a Tawny Owl hooting away for 20 minutes.
He was perched on our 5 bar gate about 5 yards away from the bedroom window. The joys of rural life!
Mind you, I've got some good video of him on our cctv.

Off to Minehead this morning, on the bus, to meet up with our mates for a long lunch at Wetherspoons.

Just us being cyclists makes us in the eyes of some to be lefty, woke, tree hugging types.

I still have a pair of her bloomers that she left after her last visit.
I use them as a bed spread.

The Victoria and Albert Museum have been tying to get a pair of my bloomers to put on show since Old Queen Vic passed away.
