Night Johnboy.

You don't need to drop down a gear approaching a bend or roundabout. Simply slow down and the cat does the work for you.

I have a manual license but I can't ve arsed with all the faff
Absolutely. Dunno about some of the modern multi speed autos but in the older cars you can pull the shifter from drive into the next lower gear if you want to hoon around a bit. In one of our 4 litre Aussie Fords using cruise control when climbing the box used to hunt from drive to third a lot and the manual suggested staying in third in those conditions. Using cruise control in the Camry at 110 km/h there are no problems, it kicks down one or two gears as required

Good morning from a very cold and damp Dorset. -2, feels like -5 according to the weather forecast. Blue bin day usually, but postponed until tomorrow as it's the last week of catchup. Walking group restarts today and expecting a low turnout as the weather is so grim.
Have a peaceful day folks ☕️☀️
