Hope it’s a one off. It got pretty annoying last week.

How is a mere man expected to find ANYTHING. Finding things is a woman's job.

Well,, bedding is now in the washing machine.

Housework never bothered me, quite happy doing it all. I remember years ago lightheartedly and slightly smugly telling an older female colleague I can do most things...but I can't do it as well as my wife.

She soon put me right (lightheartedly).. no excuse she said, no reason you can't.

And it's true of course.


This morning, up, get the kids their breakfast, iron their school clothes, help little un get dressed, change our bedding, in the wash, now on the line, completely clean through upstairs...take kids to school.
Cuppa, go into town, do the shopping home, pack it away, walk the dog (just a 20 minute one), pick up little un, make a quick beans on toast lunch for the three of us.

I like it busy...

Wife helped, she is improving bit by bit, but nothing is expected from her but appreciated if and when she helps.

I still need to arrange a lunch out with my former manager...

I'm generally loving retirement...

Haha, I got a text from.a former colleague/ friend who now also runs/owns an independant agency supplying engineers to the food industry ...if I was interested, he could get me shifts ?

Errrr no ta. It WAS going to be an aim to do a few day's a week, earn a weeks wages in 3 days but wife's condition and having the grand kids now makes it a no no.
Add to that...I don't miss the lunatic pace of it all.

Still minus 2 here. It doesn’t look like it’ll make it above freezing before the sun drops again.

Quite mild, slightly overcast and still in Peterborough. Negative is, the washing won't dry on the line.

Nope. I have no idea. I know I took them out of the ignition, then nothing don't know what I did with them after that.
