Sausage egg and chips today

I had a small baked potato and half a tin of chili con carne.

I bought the Stagg brand this time and it’s not as tasty as the cheaper one the Co-op sells so I wouldn’t buy it again.

Started young, and still going.

Barnet,
I've done my bike cleaning, fettled a couple of things, then pumped the tyres up on the car, they were a little low and tidied up the front garden. The weeds are still growing and it looked a bit of a mess.
Cheese and ham toasties coming up for dinner time.

Youngest grand kids birthday today - he is 4

born in lock down and had serious breathing problems so didn;t get out of hospital for 4+ months but seems to be doing fine now

normal sort of kid only has 2 speeds - running and holding your hand so he can't run
Oh - and sitting down eating food - which takes AGES

Anyway - SWMBO decided I had to get his present (remote control digger) out and check it had batteries and worked OK

Just as well as the rechargeable batteries that come with it were not attached (I can see why) and getting into the battery compartment took be over half an hour
Instruction - such as they are - forgot to mention a child proof catch the is almost invisible and even when you see it it does not look like it has any function
Anyway - now working and batteries tested - plus extra batteries added (normal AA) that were not mentioned on the outside of the packaging!

Obviously it needed testing so I drove it all over the lounged and "dug" up some glass beads and pebbles just to check it all works OK
WHich is does
That is what I call being a responsible Pops!!!

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I've been busy pottering again.

And the rain has started

It’s due here soon. It’s still cold and grey here so I never got out. Just hopped on the Wattbike for just over an hour instead.

Mo, a few questions.
Why is it called a watt bike?
Which one have you got?
Would you recommend it?

My exercise bike has died (it must be 20+ years old) and I am thinking of replacing it for my daughter.
