Got my shingles jab at 10.45 and then we've got to get some shopping locally.

A quick hello as my phone is nearly out of charge.
Sat up late talking to daughter and SiL, just woke up feeling drugged.
I must wake up as I didn't get to make my curry yesterday and the lamb has defrosted, it Has to be done the morning.

Morning all, 03.30 here and it is warm, we are out for Thanksgiving lunch today and then an afternoon around the pool.

Good morning from a bright but chilly Dorset. We're off to a Matinee performance of " Rebus: A Town called Malice " at the Lighthouse Theatre in Poole this afternoon. Or rather, might be going as my persistent cough is being very persistent. Have texted a friend who will slot in to my place if necessary. A new kitchen is on the horizon and Mrs Tkk has been busy planning. We have the kitchen fitter already and it's just a matter of design decisions and appliance selection.

That was a very chilly but pleasant 5 miles. Walked briskly and included a hill to keep me warm. Nearest weather station is now saying minus 7. All change again tomorrow though and it’s back to milder but wet.

Strange, as I just made it very clear that I'm not of British descent, and never implied it was anything to be proud, ashamed, or indifferent about.

-2⁰ here but a beautiful day. The fire is lit, housework needs doing but first my exercise routine to complete.

Since my earlier visit I have fired off a couple of rather pithy emails. You know the saying, "never upset a pensioner, they have all the time in the world to complain." Very controlled but to the point. I feel quite relaxed now.

There are some weird and odd people here I have to admit. Most are just hippy dippy people. I blame CAT.

Very frosty here. Mrs D had to use the app on her phone to defrost the car before venturing out.

If an app on the phone can defrost the car I would worry about the battery!!

I was just reading a thing about cheap batteries catching fire and then saw your post - got totally the wrong picture in my mind!!!
