Just spoken to my oldest lass. She's a much better boxer than I ever was (black belts in TKD, muay thai and karate and she does white collar boxing) and she's convinced Tyson v Paul was scripted.

She says Tyson is a Peek-a-Boo fighter whom likes to stay in close, and there were a couple of moments where he had a punch visibly locked and loaded and never took the shot.

Then the mysterious "script" for the fight was leaked overnight...

This has ruined my Saturday.

I suddenly woke up feeling it must be gone 0700 so got up, only to find it was 0300 . The problem was that I was then wide awake.
I ended up watching THE fight. By the end I thought Tyson was going to have a heart attack but also that, in his hay day he would have killed the guy.
Apparently, even as the looser he got $20M

Don't know why people bother watching this comedy act between two boxers. It is all scripted, as @Drago said and only a money making machine for the two opponents and their organisation.
Typical American ethos of money comes first.

I wish I could get my family and Mrs B to do likewise. The "what do you want for Christmas" questions have already started, and, "Nothing" is not an acceptable answer.

Last night, on the bus to the pub to meet "the boys", I noticed a house, fully decorated, lights etc all over the front, all over the garden, it is not even December yet!!!

Just yesterday my daughter was saying they know what they are buying me. I can't make her understand that I really don't need/want anything as Christmas is a big thing for them.
As they now live with me they have already decided where the trees (plural) and decorations are going..... I am not excited by it.
