In theory they are - they can point to all the policies and all that
however, my wife's experience would suggest that some managers "havn;t got the email" and try to sweep stuff under the carpet
or deal with it themselves so they don;t look bad to their bosses
not made better by the fact - for many years - that if someone leaves or moves from their department then they are not replaced so the whole department just ends up with the work and one less person
and then the manager gets it in the neck when they start to fail

Now - you will (may) remember that the doc has told me I need to go on a gluten free diet
and I will have an appointment with a dietician
well - I now have a date for the appointment
17th April!!
FFS - I mean , I am a reasonably intelligent person (shut up at the back there!) and am reasonably able to work out the basics myself
but if I need to go on this diet the having some professional help and advise might be useful in less than 6 months time!
if some of the stuff on the WWW (reddit etc) is to be believed then if I ingest a single crumb of bread THEN I WILL DIE!!!
and some people would belive that sort of extreme carp
I will just avoid teh obvious stuff and see how it goes
Oh - and when I contacted the GP the response was that I am still under the hospital for this so I need ot go to them for help
I am not going to be happy in 6 months if I find I am doing it all wrong and have potentially caused damage because of the lack of advise!!!

I remember the last time I saw you there was a light on, only a dim one though.
I have just spent two and half hours on a video call to an ex-girlfriend we were ten at the time, I have seen her once since then when she came onto one of my car sites in 1984, she said I was a bit stand offish then, no I was not she was a fluffy blond air stewardess and I was married. A really lovely catchup, though, talking about old school pals, It was the best evening I have had in a very long time.
