Talking of machines.

How are you getting on with your treadmill?

Been using mine most days with this rotten weather.

Not used it as much the last few weeks as the weather has been decent, but might hop on later if it keeps raining. I’m pleased with it. I have the Runn device that I can use Zwift with it which keeps me more entertained.

@Dave7

I blame you for this. Talking about a girl from your dim & distant past!

My dream last night was about a girlfriend from my school days. One of a pair of twins and they were the prettiest girls in the whole school. It is very rare for me to think of ex's even when awake.

Basically, in the dream, we got married and at the wedding reception she disappeared with another bloke and I caught them 'at it' - to be polite. I took my wedding ring off, threw it at them and stormed off. End of dream.

Strange dream for me to have all round tbh.

Sounds cool.

My entertainment is music banging out and wiping sweat off my forehead (yuk). ^_^

Strange but I often think back to identical twin girls I went out with. I was 17.
Without getting too graphic they were both erhh very well endowed.
But I never really knew which one I was with.
Then our house was knocked down for the new Mersey tunnel. We moved away and I never saw them again.

Father’s Day:

Was treated to lunch by daughter no 4, yesterday. Very enjoyable lunch, but, she did “borrow” £150 off me on Friday.

A case of beer off Son no 1, arrived this morning. Not sure where he is, on a ship, somewhere

Going for Sunday lunch, courtesy of daughter no 1, just waiting for her to pick me up

Daughters 2 and 3 are promising/threatening to turn up later this afternoon

Son no 2, nothing, he is a “problem”

As a paid up member of the grumpy on man club, I would be perfectly happy if they just got on with their lives and left me in peace 😊

Ah yes, mustn't be too graphic when talking about anything even vaguely related to sex, or finances etc. Very British!

As a slightly amusing story, I'll stay on the right side of 'clean'...

I watch a fair bit of Youtube and every so often a slew of reccommended clips appears. Some, I understand why (usually cars, cycling, mountaineering, finance stuff etc), but others are a mystery.

Such as Medieval Torture, Line Dancing & Cooking Tips - none of which I am remotely interested in so why they appeared is beyond me.

Similarly, I had some clips appear from a guy called Puffy Vegas, who asked people (mainly women) on the street some very personal questions. I had a gander at a few of these and to be fair they seemed happy to do so.

And a couple of days later, up appeared a similar character, whose name eludes me, asking young-ish people when they lost their V-card; as it is termed today. Again, they seemed happy to natter away about it.

Interestingly, the guys generally said it was amazing whilst the girls generally said it was less than memorable. No surprise there I should imagine.

How the world has changed. Much more open-ness and candour, and far removed from the stilted conversations (if at all any were had) of yesteryear.

Whether this is good or bad depends on your own level of open-ness I guess.

Right @classic33 a dream for you.
I had a vivid dream that I was some sort of officer in the war (2nd world war ?).
In front of me lots of men were fighting.
I got a message, went to the front and shouted "stop fighting, the enemy has surrendered.
Everyone was cheering, it was very emotional.
I woke up with tears running down my face.
What was all that about ?
Are you sure it was WWII, an officer that close to the front? Or did you travel there when you got the message, to pass it on?

The officers uniform, a symbol of authority, you wish to be taken seriously by the soldiers. Had you earned the uniform, or had it given?
You have been given a new direction to follow, the message given to you, and you have told others and they are happy for that, you reading the message to the men fighting, those same men cheering upon hearing it. Now you know the direction you must take, safe in the knowledge others are behind you. They, and yourself, can soon go home.

Beware though, should you wake tomorrow having had a dream of in which a vaulting horse appeared. For it will mean you do not want to go in the direction of your previous dream, and are seeking to escape.

On the other hand, you may have been watching "The Longest Day" on telly recently. Were your boots on the right feet?
