A car with a spare wheel ?? Not seen one of those for years.

When we bought the car, 6 years back it didn't have a spare. MrsP was quite assertive and said the sale hinged on the sales person getting a spare wheel instead of the gel pack that came with it. There was the space for it in the back
The sales person came up trumps. He got the sale.

I bought new car in November. The second day of ownership, flat tyre. Screw in tyre, not repairable, £125 for new tyre.

I leased a Volvo C70. Lovely car. 2nd day, same as you, screw in the side wall. £320!!!!

Good morning all, another wet one here.

Yesterday’s University Challenge Final fully lived up to expectations, spectacular knowledge displayed by the contestants, dismal displayed by MrsFoE and me, we managed just 1 each, a new low !

Monday night is quiz night at Tkk Terrace. An outstanding final, we thought the in studio presentation to the winners was a bit sparse but then it segued into the rooftop presentation with Sir Tom who was excellent. A bit of a shock to see the students standing they look so different in bearing and demeanour.
It was also the final episode of Only Connect for a while, Monday evenings are going to be bereft.

Morning folks :okay: Turned the soil in my front border yesterday, did this on my knees as frequent upright bending aint in my repertoire anymore  There will be plenty of flower seeds from last year ready to germinate- cornflowers/marigolds etc but will sow some more. Ive sown 3 trays of Chrysanthemum carinatum to plant out when theyre big enough, I do like these as they flower abundantly in various colours with attractive zonal patterns, hardy too so wont get frost damaged. :okay:
