For the first time since retirement around Sept last year I actually got dome decorating in today. Kids are at school all day, stood there idly surveying the kitchen, the flooring was done a few weeks ago...c'mon Colin get yer act together....
So a messy start,, not really organised but one wall sanded, a small ampunt of filling and a soft yellow applied.

Nice to actually get going...

Good morning all.
Another warm sunny day in the offing here.
This morning I have to go to Finchley Memorial hospital walk in centre to have the staples taken out of my knee. Unfortunately the practice nurse at my GP surgery doesn't do this sort of stuff.
After that it will be more of the same, exercises and taking it easy.

Great to hear you're making such good progress Paul. It's all the work that you've putting in now that will pay dividends in regard to flexibility so keep at it. ( I was an observer when Mrs Tkk travelled the same journey ) 👍

Morning all, I have been awake a couple of hours but decided to stay on this nice warm bed on Liverpool, I will drop Justine off at work around 8.30 and then come back and do some jobs around the house, there is a Spoon's on the way back from the hospital where she is a nurse so I may get pulled in for a breakfast. Enjoy your day.

Good morning, it's grey outside after overnight rain. A couple of Heath fires yesterday afternoon so the rain was timely. Still on the lookout for a laptop for daughter, apparently a Chromebook is out of the equation so there's the minefield of refurbished Windows machines or a spendy MacBook. She's the one who will be using it so her decision.
Meanwhile granddaughter will be sleeping over tonight or tomorrow, I do so love having her stay, Mrs Tkk says that I'm often childish so granddaughter and I have a great time together😁

Good morning all.
A brief hello as I must do the bedding.
I am trying to build up courage to phone the dentist to see if I can get an emergency appointment. I have a raging toothache which has been getting worse over a few days. I have a hygene appointment for Tuesday so was hoping I could last but it's got really bad overnight. It's a back tooth so won't be an easy extraction.
