I was thinking about buying the navy blue one instead of, or as well as the grey, but haven't bothered with the navy one as it's nice, but too much like the black one I've just bought. Mid to dark grey goes with most colours and shades, so it'll be versatile. The poet fedora is a very well made hat, probably the best I've ever bought, so I know I'm buying a quality hat. The 60 centimeter size fits perfectly, the snap brim does actually snap, not slightly bend like many do when you want to style the brim, and you feel a 'whoosh' of air as you take the hat off which indicates a well fitting and well made hat. I like the higher than usual crown and the generous, but not ludicrous brim width, so yes, each to their own indeed! 🧐

I went into a hat shop in York and noticed that the caps they had labelled as”Yorkshire Caps” were made in Lancashire, I gleefully pointed this out to an assistant, now I notice they are labelled as “Yorkshire style caps”.

Another cloth cap fan here and one leather one, which looks less kinky that it sounds.
No flat caps though as they don’t suit. Bakerboy/Newsboy only.

i got some excellent leather trousers at celine a few weeks ago, they look a lot more kinky than they sound

If you ever have trouble getting them on or off, moisturising lotion and talcum powder does the trick.
