Well, good for you, but this needed a new thread ... because?

Because that was a nearly 50 thread and this is a 50 thread of course.

Well done Colessurfer, keep at it.

I also fry my eyeballs and melt my brain constructing and improving VeloWeb, again as a resource for cyclists. Maybe I'll start another thread announcing that.

No need... you mention it or insert a link to it in virtually every post you make

Back ON TOPIC:
Well done colessurfer  It's a good feeling isn't it?
I recently reached my first 50 miler and am aiming for a 100+ within a couple of weeks.

Regards,

Good effort, especially with the climb late on. Have any plans on what to do next now you've conquered your 50??

Well, you obviously are beyond need of the help provided.

But going on the number of PMs and e-mail that comes my way, apparently some readers appreciate it.

Just ride on by.

Never said that but I think you're bordering on rudeness to Beginners. You have a nice website, well done but that's no excuse to plug it every post while poo-pooing others continually.

I'm not accepting that as truth; it's a complete misrepresentation.

But, if skin is that thin here, I hate to imagine how they'd fare at major forums.

Anyway, to colessurfer: I hope you continue to enjoy your cycling adventures. It looks like the consensus here is create as many threads as you want to celebrate.

I'll just continue to talk up my humble accomplishments mostly within existing threads, if that's OK.

I did 51 miles last saturday, big goal for me as I broke my leg in three places 10 weeks ago on a training ride and had it reconstructed and pinned. Well chuffed. It is a milestone to be proud of so thread well deserved!
