I've now got a hankering for one of those devices for making courgette "ribbons" that you always see for sale at country fairs and the like

We got one of these a while ago

It's been grand, no more deep fried chips. Best of all though is doing Rotos huevos y jamon

Throw some sliced potatoes in with paprika, cook for 20 minutes then bung in serrano ham or chorizo then cook for 5 minutes. Tip onto a plate and stick a couple of forked fried eggs on top - absolutely lush

That sounds good. We have one of the Tefal Actifries but not used it for anything other than chips.

We've got one that bolts onto the front of the 'Kitchen aid' mixer, trust me you don't want one (it came free with the mixer, if I'd bought it I'd be miffed)

What is your concern with Teflon?

It’s nasty toxic stuff and its manufacture even nastier. Known this for a long while, but there is a good BBC documentary ‘Storyville’ on iplayer.
I’d rather not have it in my life.

That sounds good. We have one of the Tefal Actifries but not used it for anything other than chips.

We shoved ours in the loft after a couple of uses.

The expensive ones are no better, it's the concept of 'spiralizing' that's a stoooooopid idea
