+1 for the slow cooker.
On Saturday I will be doing a Rogan Josh curry.......6 hours!!! Lovely.

I've currently got jacket potatoes on the go in mine.

What I love about a slow cooker is that you can fill it up in the morning with whatever, put in on "low" and just forget about it.

I use my Aldi cast iron enameled shallow casserole dish at least once or twice a week, spag bol, curry, baked lamb, thai coconut fish curry
My wife has the genuine French brand deep casserole pot but never used it.

1. A GOOD frying pan. What a difference
that made.
2. Tassimo coffee maker. TBH I dont
drink a lot of coffee
(unlike @welsh dragon or @Drago ) but now I really enjoy a mug of it.

dont know what has gone wrong but my cut&paste hasn't worked and now I cant seem to delete it.
Apparently you wrap them in foil and do them on low for 10 hours.

Wash tatties, dry them, stab them with a fork. Rub with some oil, sprinkle with salt, wrap in foil. Wang them in the slow cooker for about 5 hours on high *. Or longer on low if you put them in early enough LOL.

* Depends on size / quantity of potato.
