£800 for a Rudge requiring restoration.
Another over-priced Rudge. This one is only £450!

Price needs correcting with a decimal point: £4.50
Is vintage rust a thing???
New Raleigh Chopper recently released this month in blue or yellow, price £999.
On eBay already at inflated prices.
People who don’t want the bike but just make a quick profit 😬

Erm?
I don't move in those circles.
What twazzock at Raleigh marketing thought this would fly?
Look at the amazing success of the 21st century version of the 2CV
I know of two people who have bought them, even at the inflated price it would be a lot easier for me to buy one now than when they first came out.

Can I buy your house for the same as what you paid for it, please?
Houses normally appreciate in value, over time (not usually over a few days).
Bikes normally depreciate in value.
That is just a silly "comparison".
At least it looks like a Chopper now. The Mk3 was hopeless - no banana seat and no T-shifter.I thought they were a carp idea when they first came out and nothing I have seen since has given me even the slightest reason to change my mind
