I did do the movember thing a few years back but I reckon I just ended up looking like a Mexican refugee that walked on to the set of a bad blue movie. Mrs Slick does like me to sport a full beard, so every winter I usually oblige. I did grow it a few weeks back as I thought the mornings were getting colder, but I had to go back to clean shaved as it was far too hot just a mile or so into the ride. When I worked outside all the time I reckoned the winter didn't really start until after Christmas, so I'll wait until the new year to have another go. Oh, and @Chris S, if you want a beard you do need to take care of it.

Nope. Will be shaving once a week as usual unless I have a work meeting.
After a couple of weeks of not shaving I look like Shaggy from Scooby Doo.

I've had a goatee for all of my adult life now: it'd feel a bit strange without. My 4 yr old daughter is still fascinated by the concept.
