The only movie that could possibly challenge The Godfather as the greatest film of all time is......The Godfather II.
The book is fantastic and the BBC once broadcast a version of both films combined but edited and shown chronologically so there's none of that back-forth thing you get in both blockbusters.
It established Pacino, De Niro, Duvall, Caan and Keaton as superstars on the same level as Brando and justifiably won numerous Oscars.
I adore both films more than any other movie ever made and I can't see that changing.
