My best friend is a Utd supporter. I asked him to have a word with Ten Haag and get his finger out today.
A nice nil nil draw would suit me fine.

How much are those who bought Wrexham worth? They keep telling us they are Hollywood actors blah blah, but it's not like zillionare Brad Pitt's bought them! Whoever they are I'd never heard of them till they bought Wrexham FC. 🧐

Together Reynolds and McElhenny have an estimated net worth higher than Brad Pitt... They haven't just come out of nowhere either, been around for ages and are two of (mainstream) Hollywood's biggest stars.

That is probably more a reflection on you and your interests being other than their sort of films as they were fairly well know before buying Wrexham [ I must admit I hadn't heard of them either, but I have zero interest in Hollywood]

As to how much are they worth - that seems to be a guessing game.

The Leaderlive website suggests combined they are worth more than £320 million

whereas, The Daily Mirror suggested back in 2021 they were worth £146 million

I dare suggest other random quotes as to their net worth can easily be found by googling

Or just do what Leader and the Mirror did and go to www.celebritynetworth.com - which is pretty much what every one does. Quite an interesting site, mostly because it never claims to be bang on the money, but it seems to be well thought of.

It was a bit of a weird takeover, but they both seem pretty invested in the venture rather than just being silly with it.

And somehow keeping within FFP rules it would seem.

I think they've invested about £5 million in loans and shares? Which is huge at that level but their attendances and merchandise sales have gone through the roof too, so I don't think there's anything dodgy going on.

I'd be more concerned that if they pulled the plug then interest would fall off a cliff and they'd be in real bother as a club. Sadly, not an uncommon occurrence.

Mon the jam tarts. :bravo:

Probably a bit of a sad indictment that's what it took to get my team out of jail this weekend.

I can see Brendan being given his jotters if Celtic don't win the League, it's entirely possible they won't win anything, I can't remember the last time that happened.

I hate doing our league down, but it has felt overall quite poor this season with most teams relying on a couple of quality players to get them by, Killie very much included in that: without big Vass, Watkins and Armstrong we'd be nowhere near where we are. It looks as though Livi are finally going down though, which is grand by me because they truly are rotten and their away support is embarrassing.

With apologies to @Mo1959 and @cookiemonster it would also be quite funny to see Aberdeen down too, or at least struggle in a playoff. This may come back to bite me on the arse with our cup game coming up, but since McInnes left something has gone seriously wrong there!

No need to apologise to me….I support St Johnstone for my sins

I've said it for a while now, whomever wins that league this season will be the worst team to do so in my memory.

In truth, I don't think my team really deserve to be in the position they are in, the other mob have clearly dropped the ball although we have improved slightly since the transfer window.

Still some twists and turns with a number of teams hoping to have quite an effect on who celebrating at the end of the season.
