We once tried Jammie dodgers dunked in Guinness. Don't ever repeat the experiment.

Garibaldi's for me, but ginger are next best.

Hot or cold Guinness ?
I only ask in the interest of science, I can't think dunking a 'dodger' in cold would add anything to the experience.
Or for that matter, hot Guinness.

One of my favourite questions at work whilst stacking the shelves is What's your favourite biscuit? One youngster replied, I quite like a plain bourbon. Now i tend to call bourbon biscuits 'naked penguins' because that's what they are, but I've never heard anyone call a custard cream a 'plain bourbon' before

So what would a 'plain bourbon ' be? One without the cream? Doesn't sound very appealing.

Another question. What would you call a Viennese finger? Is it a biscuit or a pastry? My wife's Aunty bakes them plain with the cream and chocolate, still very delicious though.

Hob nobs are vile. Too sweet, and with the texture of barn sweepings. Yuck!

I conducted a massacre on a pack of chocolate chip cookies yesterday. They are *FAR* too moreish for their own good...

I'm disappointed in you Reynard....
X off the Christmas list!! 🤣🤣🤣

Chocolate hobnobs are the best along with choc rings from posh supermarkets....

DIY ginger nuts are best, plus you can halve the amount of sugar (two thirds in my case) in almost any recipe and they taste all the better for it.
