I'll just do twice as many next year then so I need 4 groups!

I actually would like to get back to doing a 'longer' ride each week next year. That is, longer than my shorter local rides. Ones of 50+ km in length. It used to be complicated because I did other longer challenges but 2025 will be simpler - all rides count for 3-a-week; all rides over 50 km in the 50s challenge. No Lunacy or 100-km-a-month challenges to grab them!

2024 has been a very bad year for me on the mileage front due to the awful weather in The Lakes this year.

Also, I probably need to make more use of my SKS clip-on 'guards'.

I’m with you - although I’ve not really taken the time to read and understand yet. I think what I’ll do is ride the ride. And get told off for the reporting after 😁

Good to have you a board ,don't worry about the reporting process it's not that complicated, you will soon get the hang of it ,don't be afraid to ask what seem silly questions

Yes depending on the number of rides per month you do ,some people just do the minimum 12 rides a year and that can be 1 post ,just try to keep post around the 13 to 15 lines long

No, I only ride outside. This was the short version of our Monday coffee run. I always name my rides this way. Three Sisters is a cafe. Do you want something which includes places?

It just happens to be the name of a zwift route ,I thought I would have to tell you off 😂, To start with a brief list of places but if you do a loop multiple times you can get lazy like me and just put "Upton Loop ". There is no right or wrong way to do it some post the Strava map others don't

I had a TURP last week, and have been told no bike riding for three months, so unfortunately I won't be able to join this year.

Went out with half a mind to try for a point, but made the wise decision to say 'sod this for a game of soldiers' and dashed for home. I didn't make it before there was a torrential cloud-burst. On me.
I don't think I could have got wetter if I'd sat in a bath. I'd have been warmer ...

Bang were off and running for 2025 , I unlike @Jon George didn't bail 👍and got my 1st 50km in with my standard Upton loop . Unlike Suffolk it did stay dry in Leicestershire as I had arranged for the weather to pass so to allow me a lie in and go out later and for the rain to arrive in Suffolk just in time to thwart @Jon George attempt to be first to the post 😂
