That (nearly) escalated quickly

There are times when you need to say something, although the truth is, you never know how it will be recieved...but there are times when you can easily say too much.
I had a real close pass on a bend and the driver turned into a side road shortly after. I followed and berated him a bit, not angry, more 'bloody hell mate'
He apologised and rather daftly I had another little pop...at which point his mood changed...
'I fookin said sorry didnt I ? '
'Fair play mate '

No harm done, it quickly de escalated, we both went our way, both made our points...but i inadvertently gave him the moral high ground to end it on.

Don' t turn this into a camera debate!

I find that this sort of situation is relaxed by a helmet cam, especially with liveried vehicles

Bite yiur tongue, with the reassurance that the words their manager will have are far more effective than anything you will say
