Can't make it tomorrow, have to tuck in the kids. I'll have to make do with the Bkool Dubai event 2 hours earlier .
What happened to you last night on the Bkool event LBHIFI? I saw you were up with the leaders near the finish but no show on the results!
Had you had enough of trying to catch that Tacx vortex rider way out in front!!?

I saw your name there, and you we're not far behind as I recall .
I finished second, but Bsim crashed while I was cooling down :cursing:. From now on I will save the session immediately and do the cool down in another session.

I must admit I was partly utilizing the on/off technique because I wanted to do some intervals. The "window" for that technique is open for about 20-30 seconds (at least for me), but I tried to get in some longer intervals.

That Vortex guy was impossible to catch on the flat sections, even during my intervals, but strangely I gained on him on the climb. With him being a pro he should have gained even more on the climb.

Unlucky, you were way in front of me and going well.
I was struggling to get going on that ride, guess because I didn't have Bill and Rick to chase!
I had a guy catch me on the line doing 73mph and 900+watts constant for his last 3 miles

Not to sure if this is the best thread to ask this question or not, but no doubt someone will move it if it's not.

So looking at the Bkool Pro trainer, how stable is it and are there any issues with the wheel slipping when out of the saddle?

From the reviews I have read these are comments that keep popping up, although to be fair they said they neither were any issue. So it would good to get the experiances from regular users as a balanced overview.

Alan's just done a 100 mile ride on Zwift so we might all want to be careful with the "helpful" advice we give him for when he starts chaingang and goat rides:tongue::laugh:
:welcome:

The Velodrome sessions wouldn't go in a league when I last tried it... we had to use a placeholder and edit in the times!

Geoff

P.S. They can be pretty full on, the last one I did gave me a brain haemorrhage... and I finished in last place! :B)

I think it probably has knowing this lot.
Just request to join the groups we talk about here (Chain Gang, Mountain Goats, Top 100 climbs) and you will be accepted because you post here. Anyone not posting here is not accepted.

I've just removed 17 requests to join the Mountain Goats because I've not seen those bkool members on here. Anyone wanting to join please post here and let us know your bkool name. Thanks.

I'd say the On/Off technique is fair game in a bkool facebook race if there's vortex riders around. Must try to fit in a Tuesday session some time to try that one out:smile:
