Help!!!

I'm trying to get the Bkool trainer fired up again after a long time in the real world. Things have changed in Bkool, new interface etc. All seems good, but I havent been able to get the trainer to pair with the software yet. Each time I click on a ride it throws up a message to pair with the trainer. It has just one option 'accept'. I turn th ecranks on th ebike and push accept but nothing happens. I have the dongle in th eusb port, the trainer is switched on. I have tried both auto and manual device pairing. On the manual pairing it scans but doesnt find the trainer or the cadence sensor.
Its taken me nearly two hours to get this far.....the temptation to ride outside in the rain and cold seems less painful right now ha ha.

Have the drivers been deleted for the dongle or is it still recognised by bkool that dongle is present, I had a problem with an oil filled portable radiator blocking signal to my dongle before is anything in the line of sight causing signal loss.( ant+ doesn't require line of sight but use as guide)

BKool has a pop up saying dongle not inserted, if you dont get that then all should be good. Have you tried pairing all of them manually from settings?

I had no pop up so it must be ok. I have now finally managed to get the trainer recognized and paired. I did nothing different , it just decided to see it .....now when i select a ride the ride comes up on the screen but when i pedal the ride does not progress. I see th ewarm up counting down, but when i start riding and then stop the warm up counta dpwn continues rather than stop and allow the session to start properly. Im wondering if this is a suscription thing, its been a while since i joined..i'l check that out.

I have had problems with it pairing, I have stopped the garmin express service when I use the trainer and this seems to solve it.

I have the dongle supplied with.the unit when I bought it. It has always worked fine before the site upgrades by bkool. It's not a Garmin dongle. I didn't even know Garmin did dongles lol!

How do I switch off Garmin connect without uninstalling it? It isnt running in background while I'm trying to.use bkool anyway.

I think (and I'm happy to be corrected as its ages since I did it) but there should be an icon for garmin connect in your icon tray (bottom right of windows - if you're on Windows 8 I've no idea). Hover over the icons to see what they are. when you find the Garmin Connect icon, right click and pick 'Exit'. This should close it.
Next time you boot up, garmin connect should run up again.
Apologies again if this is guff.

Quick Tip: In the Bkool app --- under the section: Group : everyone will be able to see the session assigned for tomorrow and be able to complete it
ive tried going in group and it just says no sessions , so i went into friends and had a go at the interval session - does that count ?
