My vid was made available today  - easy, beautiful lake side ride - part of one of my favorite routes. Winter just got a little shorter

Lake Simcoe - Lake Dr East - http://www.bkool.com/profile/detail/515920
Enjoy.

Thanks for uploading that. I've been there a few year back so it'll be interesting for me.

First Bkool post for me. Starting to get the thing figured out now after 3 weeks or so. Next step is to Join the Cycle Chat Bkool Group and see whats happening there.

Has anyone else noticed this? I've just put on a new softer tyre which I'd removed off my road bike as it punctured on the first week. Well on the Bkool it'll let me put down more power while out of the saddle. I'm therefore wondering if this whole apparent power loss when out of the saddle is just down to roller slippage. Perhaps also backing this up is that the gentler the gradient the less power is lost, I'm guessing that as the roller is spinning faster there is less torque on it to produce slipping.
Sorry if this has been already discussed as I haven't yet got round to reading the whole thread.

Yup it Def slips under steep gradients..and I rarely get out of the saddle anyway on the trainer...just doesn't feel right to me

I have a 23 ultra smooth tyre on mine with slippage on high grades been wondering myself if changing to a 28 with plenty tread might make a difference , in or out the saddle shouldn't make that much difference you've still got same weight in the pedals pushing bike onto flywheel

Before I got a trainer tyre...I was using a 28 treaded tyre....and it made one hell of a racket

Just bought the Wahoo ANT+ connector for the iPad, had issues with the software last night on my macbook and had to restart. Was very frustrating!

Anyone able to recommend an iPad handlebar mount? The Tacx one looks OK.

Yes TACX one, lovely mount.

I haven't done stages 2 and 3, pulled a muscle in my leg and waiting for it to heal, takes ages at my age,.
