looks lovely - but we have decided not to head out America way n , just too far for a week !plus the blood clots put a bit of a dampener on things ! had the misfortune to walk round Denver last time wwere out there and sort of ruined the dream a bit for me , guess itno different than any big city in the world but to see all the homeless on every street corner where the cowboys hunted buffalo and tamed steers in my mind spoilt things for me a bit . been lucky to have seen the sights I have out that way being a run of the mill builder but just ."don't want to travel for 8-10 hrs in a metal bird !

It really is a long flight. The homeless here in Seattle priced out of any kind of rental. Too much demand and rents are sky high. They have increased from $400 when we lived here in the 80s to $3200 we are paying now. Hopefully heading home next week.
The huge gap between the haves and the have nots only seems to be growing. I do enjoy rolling Down the window and yelling get a job

I suppose its the same worldwide , we got off the train and turned one way and it was tramps and tents , then crossed the road and paid £80 for a bit of steak then extra for chips and mushrooms !if things are that dear then no wonder there are people with nothing , wouldn't take too much bad luck before a lot of people struggle . good news about hopefully heading home mate bet you can't wait . been a long holiday this time ! will you be got the all clear and life back to normal or does it come with instructions

The one room apartment an old friend rented in Bouder CO back in the late 60s when he was in school for 80 dollars now goes for 3200 dollars a month. I will say I miss Steamboat though as we could go up the back way through Wyoming and see about 10 cars pn the whole trip.

Yeah on that note I think we are all lucky here we mainly have our health and the luxury of roof over our heads.

Yes, the H.S. seems a bit vicious. Been spending to much time with our neo-reichsters possibly. Never though my golden years would be witness to so much human suffering, but then again did not necessarily think I would reach my golden years.
