I was at about 170 for the majority last night. 1st 15 mins it never went under my average which was about 165, finally got a bit of respite then up again.

Who’s doing the re-run in about 4 hours?

Won't be on, easing myself back in! Just had sausage, black pudding and egg sandwich and it would be coming back up if I rode.

I’m not riding to crush you, but you will probably benefit a bit from the draft. One rider is not much draft however.

@Brusgaard I'm down this last couple of months 30 to 40 watts, not sure what factors are leading to it but lost around 10 lbs this year. I'm working on getting to be a bit more structured in my diet and general exercise in hopes of getting a bit of weight back. Thanks for suggesting the reride, really needed it. I'll be free in about an hour and a half.

Not lost any real weight in ages. :surrender: What watt/kg can you sustain for about 50-55 minutes?

Cheers @shimceltic.

It was great to hear from @Randyberlin and the progress he is making, so I thought I better get some miles in ready to compete for when he gets back on the bike.

Don't worry about putting a downhill stage in just for me, as I am not going to be pushing too hard. I used to get a bit excited when keeping up with you fast guys on the downhills, and the old heart rate was racing a bit.

At my age the recommended max heart rate is about 150, so slow and steady to keep a reasonable level of fitness.

Hang on! I'm on a spin bike in the gym of the building of the apartment we rented for the 3 months we have to stay in Seattle. The whole transplant thing is completely easy, its just recovering lost muscle mass from the 37 days flat on my back while on a heart pump before transplant.

Edit: let this serve as fair warning.
