I was dying from the start and if I got dropped one more time I wasn't coming back. Glad I missed timed easing up in the sprint as I didn't deserve it.

It was great to hear from @Randyberlin and the progress he is making, so I thought I better get some miles in ready to compete for when he gets back on the bike.
Don't worry about putting a downhill stage in just for me, as I am not going to be pushing too hard. I used to get a bit excited when keeping up with you fast guys on the downhills, and the old heart rate was racing a bit.
At my age the recommended max heart rate is about 150, so slow and steady to keep a reasonable level of fitness.
