I walked in at 1720 thinking I had 20 mins till off. Got on with 2 mins warm up.

In the featured session yes (120+ riders). Didn't see El Pistolero, so I think he might have joined the non-featured ride instead!

I decided NOT to try and follow the leaders on the first 1 km or so, as my main target was the Strava segment. So ended up with 3-4 other riders on/off until the start of the climb. There I slowed down a bit, while pondering if I should finish the stage or not. Decided to finish as it was only a couple of minutes extra and not too steep. Was already overtaken by a few then and some more going up the climb.

Some of of the leaders in that race have very suspect numbers. #2 guy turning a relatively constant 130 RPM cadence? Glad to see folks that are ethical still getting some pretty ripping numbers.

The guy who 'won' the event I did tonight put out 6.9w/kg (660w) for 35 mins. Maybe El Pistolero got the date wrong too!
