How is your dad doing? Its amazing how fast they push the recovery

He seems ok and will be out tomorrow, problem is he's riddled with arthritis so will struggle on crutches. I went Costco 1st and got him some dark Belgium chocolate thins with coconut and almond!

I bought a walker off Amazon very cheap. I only used it for the first few days and went to a cane skipping the crutches. But a knee is easier than s hip I think.

I thought that last stage was plenty hilly but maybe you didn't have the fitness at the moment. I've felt better past 2 weeks now I've got some carbs back in me!

Yeah - still a bit off the pace. I also have an overshifting front mech so i chose the wee chainring in advance to minimise shifts thinking it was all uphill until the obvious downhill bit. That was a mistake and meant I span out a bit on the early downhills. I need to get it on the stand and fiddle with the limit screws - just being lazy.

We have a good group with enough differences to make a rival or so. I'll try to make sure next month has a bit for all.....

I was just going to ask the same thing. Over here a tech with your skills can name their own price. I have a brother in law who does DDC controls and just changed jobs with at least 5 different offers in a week after he started looking.

Okay, he can move to Alaska then. ^_^

Kind of remind when the dude down at the unemployment office in 2014 told me that there were a lot of good jobs in Sweden. Of course with an almost new house, Mrs. in a fulltime job and 2 children in primary school, I was very eager to move to a new country to work, after being unemployed for about 1 month. Or maybe not!

Its like your job change. A better job and it sounds like a whole new software suite you now have under your belt. Its nice you were able to get time off soon after starting.
