My real love is touring. Those hills north of you were some of the steepest. I walked up some of the climbs. Too steep to keep forward momentum. And I think @Goldwolfie did them on a ride to Skegness.

I think any trainer can't give you the real life scenario. It might recreate the effort needed but it doesn't sit you there on a 20% hill with gravity and weather etc

Still, might feel good tilted back looking at the ceiling but it's not gonna replicate you having to put weight on the front to stop you falling over!

I don't have a penalty time. My time for the first stage is 49:11 I rode it too late, but the time is fine
My times add up to 2:47:27. So that's just 9 minutes from the fastest. Nice

Elite Rizer / Wahoo CLIMB doesn't work with the NEOs as they can't tilt/pivot at the axle. If you try, you will quickly grind away you rear drop outs.

EDIT: Most other non-Wahoo DD-trainers don't work either, just to be clear! I'm sure some of the latest Elite models do however. Actually both "risers" might require a same-brand trainer!

I'm not sure I'm gonna do it either to be frank. It will be more than 1 hour of pain for me, and I don't need that per se.
