Let's just clear one thing up right now Kipster. I didn't ALLOW you to take 2nd at all, you helped yourself. I fail to see how we can continue to be friends.
My fall from grace has been meteoric, and I need to take steps immediately to combat it.
You guys are all getting stronger, I need to ensure I haven't peaked. And besides, I'd kick your ass in a Swimathon. Do BKool do a bath version?
But seriously, well done guys, you worked hard for those positions and they are all well deserved. But watch out, don't write me off just yet.

Both Geoff and Bill, huge Thankyou for your league admin efforts, they are massively appreciated. You have added great value to my turbo, and the amiable banter that accompanies your administrative duties is of equal importance to me.
Wish my leg didn't still hurt, just want it 100% mended! even though the bike doesn't aggrevate it, I'm still trying to be cautious.
Seeing a decent sports Physio on Saturday, so hoping for a proper diagnosis if nothing else.

Well done Bill on the overall win, and thanks to Adam for missing a stage and allowing me to snag 2nd ;)

Geoff, great work for putting it all together. I must try and win a stage in the April league.

Kip, Thanks for putting up such a good fight on those long flat sections. Hopefully you'll get that stage win soon. I must also thank Adam for not taking his 1 second beating lying down and coming back at me to win the stage.

Adam, couldn't agree more about the excellent banter and the competition we all have together adding to the turbo experience. I'm sure you'll soon be back up there and challenging for the win each time. I'm relying on it to hopefully get a little fitter myself in trying to stop you.:boxing:

April's Chain Gang has gone live - 10pm the day after it was dated - as expected.

While the group was between leagues, I have setup the four divisions they provide (A, B, C, D) to reflect our fitness levels (Elite, Pro, Active, Amateur) so we all have additional targets, say top three in our division?

I understand that at the end of each league it will promote/demote depending on placings.

Hope to see as many as possible for this Thursday's climb, Exmoor Forest.

I'll getcha next time randy! great mid table battle
Keeps me motivated that's for sure!
Yeah. 48 seconds after 3 hours and 37 minutes isn't what I call a comfortable lead. Next month should be good. It looks like you're putting in long real rides also. I better step it up a notch.

Looking forward to it Geoff. Will have the benefit of my new bike on the Bkool, post fitting at Cadence performance too. Ha!, Just realised setting myself up to fail here:blush:
Mind you, i will have had to be successful in sneaking it past Ms B!

Cannot access the Divisons Geoff. Bkool wont let me in.

Sorry, it seems you need to be a group admin.

However, you can see the divisions on the results, and you can group the results by division.

These are the 15 current Division C members, all of whom should be Active Fitness Level. Everyone else is Division D apart from Bill (Pro B) and Elite Adam (A)

Bill and Adam should have no problem finishing top of their respective leagues!

Hey guys - can I join in? I'm not a prolific CC poster, but I've been reading a bit and have been on Bkool nearly a year now. I'm not sure whether I could make the live races, but would be interested in joining a league. I've been in the UK league for a while now, and I've been beaten by Kip a few times . Bkool UserID is patrick and I'm "Active6" level at the mo...

You'll need to apply to join whichever of the groups appeals to you.

CycleChat Chain Gang
Primarily for the live races on a Thursday evening and/or Saturday afternoon, though if you miss the odd one you can usually catch up in the days following.

Cycle Chat Mountain Goat
For those who like to climb, mainly alpine climbs of an hour or two, usually done solo.
We do sometimes go up in groups of 2 or more, and sometimes Adam will spot you half way up and chase after you to overhaul you in the last km!

Just got home and found the Bkool Pro waiting on me. Set it up and jumped on just to make sure everything was working. Resistance seems fine - feels very different than the Realtour, as it was clamped onto the roller. Get the sneaking suspicion that it is harder to generate Watts on the Bkool. All will be revealed tomorrow night!
