Hopefully I've managed to join the league and can get my ass kicked on Thursday. When connected to a Bluetooth enabled laptop is it better to use Bluetooth or the ant dongle or no difference?

No difference, what you're looking for is the strongest most reliable signal from the turbo, so get an extension lead for either a Ant+ or Bluetooth dongle.

You're in shimceltic.
On Thursday at 7pm you can do a search (from the simulator) for my name (Bill S) as I will be starting the ride. Each competitor will join that ride.
If you see me at the start line then you know you're in the right place. Don't still be pedalling when the countdown reaches zero as you must be stopped just before the race starts.
See you there.

Bill Firstly, many thanks for setting up the league, hopefully if the last update has produced a stable platform we will have enough participants for a great winter of leagues. I will do Thursdays route tomorrow if you want to add me as a ghost on Thursday. I know I should know, but does the warm up start at 19:00 or at 18:50 with the race starting At 19:00? See you Thursday, let's see if we can still draft each other, I suspect you may leave me for dead!

Always a pleasure Keith. I've not been on the turbo for 6 weeks or so therefore I'm going to be quite unfit compared to before. Your ghost will be especially welcome and it should be fun to see how we all compare after time off the bikes. Warm up starts at 19.00. see you there. :ninja:

True. I was a B on the Pro for watts, but a mid C on the Kickr. Some days the Pro was a bit crazy, but mostly it was consistent (although reported too high watts). Speed wise though, I'd say I've beaten all my Pro times using the Kickr (the times when the Pro was over the top I've deleted those rides).
Hi Whorty, I`ve only done a couple of rides using the BKool sim with my Kickr Version 1 and I can`t even keep up with my ghost which I did using
the BKool Pro, the watts are much more accurate with the Kickr , as an example I did the Bornholm Rundt Part 3 ride quite often using the BKool Pro
and at an average of 200 watts I averaged 22.1 mph with an average heart rate of 141 bpm, I`ve done the same ride using the ghost from the that
ride using a CycleOps Hammer and at 200 watts my average speed is 20.7 mph at heart rate of 160 bpm and also on the Wahoo Kickr V1 at 209 watts
my average speed is 21.3 mph at the same heart rate (160 bpm), the time using the BKool Pro at 200 watts was 1:06:52 at 141 bpm and the time with
the Kickr at 209 watts was 1:09:26 at 160 bpm, I think I was probably slightly fitter when using the Pro but on the Kickr I can`t even stay with my ghost.
I posted this because I was surprised to see that using the Kickr you`ve beaten your times done with the Pro.

That was on Zwift, not in Bkool Indoor Simulator.
Ah ok , thank you for that , I was starting to think my fitness was going downhill really fast
So its probably correct that I won`t be beating any of my BKool Pro times when using the Kickr on the BKool Sim??

This evening's attempt at this month's stage 1 was happily and surprisingly uneventful. Connected Immeadiately, no problems warming up or starting, no lag at all in the graphics or complete stops, a couple of poorly timed gear changes on the little kicks in the route (but I can hardly blame bkool for that!) and I happily beat all the bots I'd loaded up. 20:35 (i think) totally unaided, @BILL S under 18:00 should be easily possible, despite the recent layoffs if people work together and especially for the guys who can put out more watts than me on the flat. It hasn't recorded it as a league ride, and there's a pink cross next to it possibly because I changed my weight , a kg of early autmn fat (all beer related!) after the ride. See you all thursday evening.

Same here @keithaitch - I completed a league ride this aft with no issues. There was a healthy smattering of magic dust on the road though - unless I was massively powerful all of a sudden. Average of 250 watts for 25 miles..

Did like the new views..

I hope to be there at 7 on Thursday fellas. :hugs:

I've only beaten my Bkool Pro times on Zwift courses, using my Kickr. On the Bkool BSIM I can't get anywhere near my Pro ghosts using the Kickr.
