I'm sure you'd have no trouble hanging on for the quick ones if you rested the way I do between rides. Looking forward to teaming up tonight though if I can hang onto you.

Cant do 7.
Did 6 almost killed myself chasing Jacob in the finale
Popped in the last 1 km again then I got the chest thing so I am giving a second session a miss
Well done @JacobSkovsgaard , again, damn Danes are getting too good for us Brits

Get yourselves over '''Tour of Watopia" .

Next event the 'Alp'

.Homage to the Alp d' Huez

There has been usually 1000+ riders in each session. Test yourself against the many:okay:
I'm going t have to try out Zwift when I'm back from my holiday.

Any tips on where to read up about Zwift.

Just want to see if its complementary to Bkool. No plans to quit Bkool despite its many quirks.

Not able to make it tonight or Sat.

I'm off for a long weekend in the lake district. HID is having a spa treatment at some point for a couple of hours so I should be able to get a short ride in whilst I'm there
Not around either tonight or Saturday or next week.

Off for a week in Cornwall with HID plus daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter!

Pasties and Tribute sounds good!

Thanks for the tow @BILL S :notworthy:
Felt like you had at least 15% more there. Perhaps I could have launched a sprint but that would just have been ridiculous. I was afraid you thought I was nudging you to go faster, when I came up at your side you from time time but believe me I was only trying to shout to you to ease off:laugh:. I hope it wasn’t all pointless for you :okay:

I did do one or two of my trademark false tows for a couple of meters here and there but I think I fooled no one (not even myself).
Well this only proves this is a bit too fast for me for the time being, to be of any help to anyone else.

I got 99 problems and two of them are my legs. And socks. Obviously.

You were a help to me per. Kept me concentrating on trying to go the same speed as you, which was just the right speed for me tonight. Maybe try a bit faster on Saturday ;). I definitely didn't think you were trying to speed me up.
What happened to you @Brusgaard ? I didn't think we were going overly quick for you, so I'm guessing you really went for it in your previous races today.
And I know all about your trademark false tows per  because I do them all the time myself when trying to stay with the usual suspects up front.

The last words my daughter told me, before I went out in the shed for this race, was "Dad, you look tired". Probably should have listened to her and dropped the race today.
And no, in the race at 4 pm I was going intentionally slow (avg. 138 BPM / 265W), hoping I would feel better a 7 pm, but alas that was not to be.

No biking tomorrow and then the real world race Saturday at 12.30. Thankfully I only signed up for the 75 km instead of the 105 km distance. The weather forecast now says around 11C and windspeeds of 7-12 metres/s from South/South-East, meaning the last 40km will be in the headwind. :surrender:

I was supposed to do an easy ride as it was my 8th day in a row on my bike, but you didn't follow my plan and then I had to step up and follow you and go for the hard win. Great ride old man :bicycle::boxing::cheers:

I knew when I didn't lose you on the climb I was done.
Then I missed your draft on the descent and had to spin up to get back on.
To be honest I thought you backed off which is why I caught up again, perhaps you thought you were not dropping me but a few seconds more and I would have been done.
And then when it came to the sprint I knew I would be no match, so I had lost mentally already, and could only hope I'd taken the edge off of your finish.
However in doing so I had destroyed mine anyway.
Odd in a way, there I was a half hour before the race talking about ECG's and then my chest tightens up after the session.
Just goes to show that I will die trying one day.

Well I've just been beaten up by the kickr :B). I thought I'd try a session I did last year in march, 40k, about 90 minutes.

Not good. Just could not get going. No power in the legs, couldn't get the hr up, very laboured. I may have used a bit more on BRVR's James Canyon ride, I did Wednesday, than I thought.
Edit to add I only managed 30 minutes and about 8km

Having a rest untill Sunday then a pop at BRVR's Ax 3 Domaines.:mrpig::cheers:
