@peterob still showing low watts while flying along!

I noticed on the recordings there is a bit where @BILL S is drafting you while doing twice the watts you are displaying!

From around 12 minutes into the middle recording...

Errrrmmm, I was supposed to start at 8:45 this evening, but didn't and now my handicap is 9:00 ... and I missed last week as well.

The Handicaps aren't absolute, they are relative! If someone else needs a larger head start, or a new person joins, then everyone else gets a slightly larger Handicap, it isn't you being singled out, it's just the baseline slid 15 minutes further!

I like the way I always get a bigger rest at the begining but still never seem to catch the leader.

Yes, there is always someone else who out performs by more than you. When you are so fast in the first place it is hard to go that much faster!

The Handicap algorithms try to take this into account, by allowing for a greater improvement in the slower times, but this time Bert, Bill and Pete just improved by too much!

Unfinished business and there was a lot of dust about tonight so I thought ''why not'.
I saw a big ride going up a big hill so I thought I would try and get promoted.
I may have failed by a watt or two but it was close.

Failed by 0.9 watts

Needed 481

Who am I kidding! (other than myself)

I knew I was beat when the leaders were already well down the final descent before I hit it.
Didn't help having the BillRob twins working together ahead of me with no @bridgy to help.
Specially as @peterob blew me away in the last session.
