Bad news guys the NC injury curse is reaching its tenticles deep. I have torn the anterior cruciate ligament and two bones in the knee in a skiing accident. I will have an mri when I get back to Barcelona to decide on the exact extent of the injury but the current prognosis is 4 to 6 months off the bike. But I'll be back fighting fit in the autumn. Thx for a great few months of competition and friendship, best winter training ever. View attachment 396038
What am I going to do without you Keith? I'm trying to look at the big picture and how by feb 2019 you'll be in tip top condition after your recovery and definitely be one of the strongest riders in Team Cyclechat. You can rely on me to help get you back to fighting fitNess for your turbo Challanges ahead.

You know what - I am not sure biking and skiing are good for fitness you know !
Speedy recovery Keith - I went skiing with someone who done his cruciate in a couple of year ago and he made full recovery
If that makes you feel better - though he walks like a flamingo now :okay:
To all remaining team I wish you good luck and the bkool fairy dust in abundance
Does anyone know how us mere mortals can watch the broadcast ?

:eek::eek: I thought @BILL S was in front of us :cry::cry:

Desperately trying to find the Real Nations Cup Standings rather than the BKOOL League, as I don't like the results on that
I did the last stage on the Kickr so didn't get the Pro assist, so the league will definitely put you above me and next in line  I knew that was a good idea to switch trainers  Hopefully though, no more injuries - I think the team have suffered enough. It feels like the rugby world cup again where the All Blacks were nobbled by the South Africans .... those Danes and Spanish must be so scared of our strength in depth they're even taking out of reserve riders on the ski slopes!!! :gun:

I hear Rioja is good for skiing injuries.

Or does it cause them?

Either way if your not skiing it can do no harm.

Sorry to see this Keith - hope you heal soon. Skiing's really fun until that happens!

Thank goodness you held a bit back to ensure you stayed outside the top 5 in the NC qualifying league eh?!! Would have caused all sorts of problems at this late stage otherwise...

Does anyone know how us mere mortals can watch the broadcast ?

1) Go to http://bkoolnationscup.com
2) Scroll down to find the Youtube livestream
3) Stock up on beer
4) At around 10.50 (9.50 UK) the livestream will start
5) Enjoy the show

We will speak in Danish only, except for maybe a “cheers” here and there. I will try to show all riders from all nations this time around. Last year I was only a stand-in, as Morten “Museeuw” had to go to a family funeral, and was not in control of the video. Hopefully the videostream will be much better, if I can get their 250Mbit internetconnection working properly. Last year we had to use a limited 4G router.

Really looking forward to this @Brusgaard - try not to sound too disappointed in your commentary as the British boys romp home as glorious victors :wahhey:
