i think he tried to let us go a couple of times but we kept going back to get him
my initial lead out for his sprint was a bit too strong but then he blasted by me and bridgy on the line to take yellow and green
there were no polka-dot points today and i dont think he will get the white jersey

It looked like one of those @BILL S special stages... the ones that set off the lactic detonators in my knees..

Maybe my mate @Whorty will be on hand to help on Saturday?

Not quite as bad as the desert one last month, but that did hurt. 30 minutes or so in and I was shot . I kept pace with one of the ghosts early on and then just lost the tow and then bang, a world of hurt for me. I avg 224w for the first 30 minutes and then fell away to about 215 I think.

Anyway tooooo hot for me at the moment

8 miles is one thing, 20 miles is quite another my friend... plus I need to recover - my thighs are singing away.. I'm working sat n sun, which may determine which world I ride in..

You are welcome @Jim Brown you worked really hard for that. A few times I started to pull away but as soon as you got back on you powered it Absolutely cracking time .... just wish I'd noticed the time and I'd have finished with you, but hey ho, my fault for not concentrating

I was going to say it's good to be back, but that would telling porkies, as that really hurt tonight.

It's the hardest ride I've done for quite a few months for one reason or another.

Like yourself I felt ok got the first half of the ride, then I struggled - power down and heart rate up and I was struggling to make it.

Alot seems to have happened since I was last competing in the CG and quite a few members of the old autobus have progressed and left us behind somewhat - there's no stopping Worty, Jim, Rob and Marino now a days.

U oh.. Bkool updated but doesn't like my ride...

My ride hasn't made it on either. Seems if you improve your time then they have to approve it rather than it be auto-approved. Seems a bit overkill. Hopefully they'll update later and you take your rightful place in 16th (i think ?)

Well look at that he table is showing @bridgy as first, must have started a nano second later than @BILL S.

And look at the average Watts @AAAC and @bridgy at 360 watts and @BILL S nice and snug at 320.
Poor old Steve 3 minutes behind at 375 watts.
