Just did CG1, first race in 6 months. Set off too quick and it was the closest I have ever been to xx( on my bike, I was hanging on at the end
Pleased with time though at the end

Back in the land of internet again ! You lot do chops don't you ^_^ just spent a hour trying to catch up
Been up Scotland doing north coast 500 - if any of you fancy doing it sometime just don't ask me - I was broken  think it would have been fun if I wasn't riding through what the locals called the worse storm of the year
As some may have noticed I am not the heaviest person on a bike and when the wind gusts at 50 mph it was only a matter of time before it got me
50 mile in on third day I went from 25mph to zero using my elbow and hip as a break - had to do another 60 to get to bnb . In the morning I went docs who parched me up and said I really shouldn't ride so of I set with the wind and rain just as bad but when I saw the bus stop roof get peeled up that done me ! I got to Thurso and cut the corner down the a9 that had water streaming sown but wind behind so didn't have to do anything . Last day pilled up and sun out got to my lift outside Inverness
Was going to go over the letch again but couldn't face it as things hurt and it's raining again so that's it - for now Cured me of raining in the wind for a bit - but might give it a while before set the turbo up

Sorry to have failed you @Whorty, but you somehow forgot to tell me that Steve was Pro 10 !!! Beating him, me being Active 8, would have been a real surprise! And it seems that @AAAC 76C stole some of my watts, since I lost 40 if them since yesterday.
i would love to join in the live races but being 7 hours ahead of you guys the timing is somewhat less than 'convenient'?, in fact for the criterium race bkool organised i did ask them to add a start for their far east members, unsurprisingly i didn't get a reply, ah well

I'm surprised that they don't have an auto reply that say's
"Thank you for contacting the BKool helpline.
We are not in at the moment and I'm not sure when we will be seeing as I am a machine.
Please go to our FAQ section to see if you can find a sensible answer there.
If not tough!"

I forgot about CG2.. I may try get red hat#1 in the drome first then run the CG2 afterwards..

I'll be happy to compete with @rob01792

After all my short spring Sportive's I'm now looking for new goals and fancy doing some endurance stuff.. I've got one more sportive after the TDF (which I'm going to ), then I'm going to try for my first century..

I may see you in virtual cycle land tomorrow @Whorty

Well that was a complete disaster...

No power
Bad chest
Very beige this morning..

No well..

My HR has been unusually high during the past week or so. Perhaps there was something not quite under the bonnet. And it's just showing it's self?

Oh well. As you say Steve, I need to stay hydrated and warm..

If the weather was going to be kinder I would do it again tomorrow !! Especially up west coast to see deer and otters just wandering about was something else but if there is any flat bits I don't think I found them ! Just either pointing up or pointing down
Would be nice to do it on proper bike with no bags
