I'm hoping for some good stories involving much pain and suffering. Feel free to recover before getting down to the nitty gritty about how much your 4rses hurt and how you were losing the will to live and so on.

In the mean time, well done to everyone who competed in the May Chaingang. The new league has just been created and should be starting tomorrow ready for the Thursday night blast. Spending last weekend in Wales will not be an acceptable excuse to not be on the start line.

Bill, despite being in the saddle for nearly 10 hours, my backside was okay. Legs a little heavy, but not aching. My lower back felt like I had done a massive dead-lift session. When I got home wife smothered my back in deep heat, felt great and was fine today. I took 4 brufen tablets on the course and possibly kept me more relaxed so didn't suffer as much.

How about asthma attack and doctors orders not to push myself for the next 2 weeks as he thinks I could put myself in hospital. Is that OK? Although, he could just be being over cautious .... I'll see how I feel in the next couple of days. I'll complete each ride but better not push too hard just in case

I was suprised I didn't have more pain in my shoulders after so many hours on the bike. Maybe an added bonus of necking sleeping pills all week...

My left knee's been pretty sore the last couple of days too. But I won't go on about it. I'd imagine it gets boring hearing about it after a while :cuppa:
