You didn't seem to have any problems with that curry last night mate! :hungry:^_^

Can anyone tell me how to do the altitude adjustment thing on Strava? I'm feeling a little cheated...
There is a 'correct elevation' link to click on when you're on the ride page, top rightish Be careful, it always robs me of elevation, and doesn't always work on big rides.

Haha! I say mental in the nicest possible way! Martyn would be a welcome addition to the bkool leagues. Him, Rob and Whorty were a great tonic just when me and Breedon needed one.
Not sure where I helped ... unless it was to take your mind off your own troubles and to worry at what part of the ride I would collapse :B) Said to my wife earlier, whilst not great for you and @Breedon personally to do the detour and lose so much time, for me personally it was one of the highlights of the day when the 5 of us rode together to the final feed station. Having you guys looking out for me during that stage when I was hitting the wall was a real boost and got me over the worst of it.

@Breedon did learn a valuable lesson though ... don't ride behind me on a descent ... unlike @CXRAndy I'm slow and unpredictable :tongue:

Whorty you were a sight for sore eyes mate, although by that point there wasn't much that wasn't sore! ^_^

When Breedon and me took the scenic route we found ourselves rock bottom last. The only person we saw for miles was 'Welsh Don Johnson' taking the signs down after we'd passed them... quite demoralising is an understatement... when we saw you guys over the top of that ridge it was an unreal feeling it really was mate. And what a view to share! It was one of the highlights of the ride for me bud. I don't think I can overstate how much I admire the effort you put in. And it gave us all a real boost I'm sure.

Bob are you still contemplating the Welsh ride in a few weeks? I think it takes in one of the Devils, either 'staircase' or 'elbow' Ideally suited to your stature.:okay:

"Stature" :unsure:

Apparently-I had forgotten- it is my eldest sons 19th birthday on the 11th June. Mrs B says I need to be around but I am not sure my son will be. He will want to be off with his mates/girlfriend. So, a bit of negotiating to do first. I have a lift there and back sorted and space still available but I have to know I will be welcome back in the family home on my return:rolleyes:
