Apologies for doing an @bobinski on everyone with my sore back. As soon as I got on the bike it felt better than it did lying on the sofa.

a bit like an episode of Last of the summer wine....^_^

I suffer from this weird delusion that I am capable of doing absolutely any job on my own that most people would get 6 strong men to do. When I googled it the answer I got was that a guy who wanted to move a 8X8 shed got hold of 12 mates to help him. I decided that because mine was 6X8 I could manage it on my own with the help of some planks of wood, some bricks and a crow bar. Turned out I was right though. ^_^

Scaring my ticker, thats for sure
Not saying nufink yet but that was 3 minutes slower but 3km longer than my WC effort when I was helping Bridgy so until I see the stats, in a few days time BKool, Im hanging fire on any comments.
I had my Kill Bill kit on though!

Well done on your quick ride AAAC. I never felt strong enough to stay with you for the distance but I stayed as long as I could. At first I thought we would have a pleasant ride with Brusgaard on tow and still be quicker than my Thursday time, but unfortunately you had different ideas. I would have happily gone much slower but as usual, you are like a red rag to a bull and I'm unable to resist.

I was trying to tag brush guard along but he seemed to quit and backed off as if to say 'don't wait for me' so I thought, cod it, lets go.

Tirfor winch, a long metal stake and a monkey, that's what you needed.

It is strange autocorrect blocks cr@p. I leave the Bkool computer on all the time and worked out of town last week so when it didn't load tried a quick zwift - saw Bobinski pushing uphill - then on reboot over 25 minutes to update and restart.

Randy, I thought you had come to join me. I was struggling a bit so glad when you disappeared off to join Compo, Cyril and the others ^_^

Well, when you started putting the hammer down, I felt like a nail... :-) Sometimes you just have to realize that you can't keep up. So yes, I backed off, waiting for Bill's ghost to catch me. Unfortunately that blasted past me as well, and I went back to basics, that is trying to keep my RPM as steady as possible around 100. At the end I was afraid that even the Spaniard would catch me, but luckily he didn't. :-)

How come so few take part in the Saturday re-runs? How many are you on Thursdays?

Indeed. That's exactly what I needed.
I knew that at the time but It'd cost me money to rent that plus drive to the rental shop and back twice.
Of course I could've saved a bit by just using a tree instead of the metal stake.

Just a Tirfor then.
This particular one is £30 from Toolstation.
Worth anyone's back, even a Scot's

I was hoping to do the Saturday run but I ended up having plans today so had to run it myself yesterday. Usually Saturday works better for me than Thursdays so I'm often sweeping up at the back of the group on a Saturday :bicycle::sweat:
