Looks like it's going to be an exciting 8 months.
What's all this trainer malarky. I've been out today for the Senior club run to a lovely cafe at Wymondham nr Melton Mowbray. Rolling hills there and back. For me just short of 70miles. I coped quite well with everyone commenting how can you use 40t chainring and keep up. My Tripster performed perfectly and was able to keep up even when the road tilted down-gravity assist and high cadence I definitely need a few days off after Friday's long ride aswell.
I've uploaded a minute or so of our ride(only of interest to sad cyclist s )

Lots of fresh legs and tight formation. It didn't look like that homeward bound. I was dropped with 2 others on the last climb. HR hit 180bpm, I stretched a lead-more like they were just a little more tired than me, kept it till we parted routes for our homes.
Had my nap, off for an Indian and beer
Looks like nice roads there Andy. Are they always so empty of traffic?
We did something similar 18 months ago. After a lifetime of cities (Brum, Sheffield and London) we left the smog behind and moved to the countryside. Sold our SE London flat and for the same money bought a 6 bed house with lake and 2 acres of land Property prices in London are just bonkersPretty much Bob. That's one of the reasons moving to the Lincolnshire countryside. Quieter roads and little pollution. We are moving to Rutland in a few years, really nice rolling countryside but slightly more busy with traffic. We will be within 5-9 miles of major towns, easy biking distance. I'm coming round to using the cars less and less for short journeys.
Having lived in Leeds for 10 years, I thoroughly recommend the countryside. House prices are cheap in comparison to London. We currently live in a 5 bed detached house with a large garden bought for £330k

I still contract in London so travel there every day (3 hour round trip) but hoping to cut this down to just 6-8 months a year so I can enjoy our new lifestyle more
And you can sleep in the wine cellar...6 beds, a lake and 2 acres!
Fancy a lodger from Yobvile.
I'll mow the lawn while your on the train and still go to work.

3 in the top 10. View attachment 346679So the Bkool Winter Cup league has offficially finished (as in its not showing as a current league) but without updating - I assume it can still update after closing?!
